Urbanworks llc was founded in 2007 as a special structures project management and engineering support firm. Operations are divided into three divisions:

1- Lightweight structures design, engineering and installation for special projects. "urbanworks" specializes in unique and customized architectural solutions using tensile and fabric structures to provide much needed shade and protection for users and buildings. From the form finding process to the finalized engineered design, our design team works to create special structures that compliment either landscape or building. We also collaborate with highly skilled firms and individuals to realize these structures through the installation phase.

2- Project Management for International firms operating in KSA. "urbanworks" provides local knowhow and expertise of the market when it comes to execution and operation within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Through a professional team with international experience, the firm assists international companies to navigate the local market and offers valuable engineering and management advice and direction. The firm has collaborated with Architecture firms Rasch+Bradatsch and the lightweight structures specialists SL-Rasch in Germany, and is representative of major Japanese Membrane & Lightweight structures company Taiyo Kogyo Corporation currently operating on mega-projects in KSA. "urbanworks" has successfully managed all site work for Taiyo at the Madinah Piazza Shading Umbrellas project (250 Movable Mega-Umbrellas), including contract negotiations, site coordination during membrane installation and maintenance and repair works.

3- Real Estate Development for small to medium housing units in Jeddah and Madinah. Managing the contract administration, procurement and construction supervision phases of these project. At the same time, the team’s expertise ensures that the quality and design intent of the project design are maintained throughout the construction and execution phase. In addition, the project management team continuously develops and researches the use of innovative construction material to push forward the boundaries of construction in the region.
